| This position is for a nanny who has a master's degree in education or literacy OR for a nanny who is currently working on her degree. The family needs you for 20 to 30 hours per week (3 or 4 days per week) and they need you to be outdoorsy, OUTGOING & A SELF-STARTER! Someone fun, playful and very inventive and creative. MUST have NYC Nanny Experience and references working in a private home as a nanny / tutor. Please have experience with children who have dyslexia and attention issues, NO EXCEPTIONS! Patience is a virtue and we are hoping to find someone to stay for at least 1 or 2 years. They are very flexible for your schedule if you're still working on your master's! The mom really wants a nanny who will be inventive on rainy days (there is no tv watching) and the kids often go to the MET, other NYC museums and they are interested in photography and they would like if you could bring new craft projects into the home for them as well. Bedtime, homework time and time management is essential in helping these elementary school age children with their every day lives. Please know how to swim and how to help with learning disabled children. |
